ABOUT US
FTL Innovation design and manufacture our own range of high quality aeroplanes and jets from our facility in China . We have fully designed each one from scratch using decades of know-how along with having experience of working in the aero space industry professionally. RC Jets were our passion and it was our aim to produce a handful of our own jets for friends and anyone that was interested. This soon took off and became a successful business in China. Now supplying the USA, Asia and Europe FTL has become a successful business that has a passion for the hobby at the heart of its success.
All of our jets are hand made with high attention to quality control. Most importantly all of our jet designs are thoroughly tested by our own team and pilots internationally before release. This ensures that we have a broad consensus on performance and durability prior to release.
Although the RC world is one of our passions it is not our only business endeavours. We are part of a larger group that is heavily involved in the electric vehicle industry and we have several different elements of this including production of drive trains and electric propulsion across a number of industries.
We are a Japanese company with infrastructure both in Japan and China.
Our main factory is in China and is very close to the Jiangsu CBD and houses our R&D team and prototyping facilities. Here we have full CNC 3 Axis and CNC Lathe facilities, as well as a dedicated stator winding department focused on developing new motor winds and researching magnet / stator configurations.
The second facility produces our main-line post R&D first run products in a state of the art factory, spanning 5000sqm with gantry facilities for finished single products up to 20 metric tons.
The third facility produces high quality carbon fibre and GRP moulded products including; propellers , air frames and structural parts using the very latest in automated production lines . This facility also has static testing facilities capable of testing both electric and internal combustion power systems up to 500hp.
Finally we also have our own jet factory which is also located in the Jiangyin area. We are close to Shanghai and the large port of Ningbo making distribution and export of our jets very simple to any location in the world.
